Meet Cleo

I thought I'd introduce you to the newest member of our family - Cleo the gentle lioness. Also short for Cleopatra (as in queen of Egypt). It has been a while since we have had a pet - about 20 years. Now that both our kids are older (one has actually moved out) we decided to adopt a cat. She is loads of fun. All projects and supplies have always been kept in cabinets and closets, so they are automatically out of Cleo's reach so there won't be any cat fur on anything. These pictures were taken the first day we brought her home. It didn't take her long to make herself comfortable in her new surroundings and she is now in charge of everything. She's a great supervisor.

We are still working on the new doll class. And have lots of new project ideas waiting to come out of hiding. Of course, when Cleo joined our family a few days ago, almost everything else takes a back seat until she takes her afternoon naps. ; ) She has also given me a few new ideas. Just what I needed! LOL! More ideas with even less time. Cleo is about 6 months old now so she should soon settle down in more adult cat ways.

I had to introduce you to her. Be watching for more classes coming soon. And hopefully a few finished projects. I've found myself project hopping lately and Herrshner's had a great Valentine's Day sale with free shipping so I have more projects coming. Thanks for dropping by today to meet Cleo and to catch up on ECC updates.

Have a nice day!
