Making my First Afghan

I got some cute yarn at Wal Mart last night. I started making a big block on my large knitting loom for an afghan. I just got one skein so I'll probably have to go back to get some more. Don't know yet; this is my first afghan. It will be simple of course but it's a start anyway. So far I really like the way the variegated colors are working out.
