How to take a class

A few people have asked me recently how to take a class on http://www.ecraftclasses.com/. So I thought I would post the procedures here for you. You must have a Paypal account or a credit or debit card to purchase classes. Credit and Debit card purchases are still made via Paypal's secure checkout.

Classes are uploaded to the website so once you purchase, you do have immediate access to your class. Please notice that many of the classes do have expiration dates. Also if you do run into any instructions that you do not understand, you will be able to contact your teacher for help. Teachers should respond in 48 hours or less.


This is a very simple process despite the lengthy description and takes only a few seconds once you've selected the class you want to take.

• First you will need to click on Classes near the top of the home page.
• On the next page that comes up, you will see all of the craft topics available. Those that are visible from this page are the main categories. Many of these will have have sub-categories to choose from as well. (If a category isn't listed that you would like to see, please let us know by filling out the Contact Us form at the following link: http://www.ecraftclasses.com/contact.php. We'll consider adding the category however, it may take a while before we find a teacher for the category. We will spread the word via, newsletter, blog and forums.)
• If you click on a topic and no class is listed, that means that no one is currently teaching a class in that topic. Please check back often in that event.
• When you find a paid class you'd like to take, click on the Buy Now button. You'll be directed to another page to fill out your information. Fill this out completely. If you do not have a Paypal account but will be using your credit or debit card instead, please repeat your email address that you entered in the first email address field.
• Click the button to Continue to Payment.
• You will then be directed to a page to confirm that the information you entered is correct. If every thing is correct, click the button to Proceed to Payment via Paypal.
• On the next page, you must either log into your Paypal account or click on the words Don't Have a Paypal account beneath the log in area to enter your credit or debit card information.
• Once you pay, be sure to click the yellow bar that says "CLICK HERE TO GET YOUR CLASS LOG IN DETAILS". If you don't receive your information, please forward your Paypal receipt to us via the Contact Us form and the E Craft Classes Team will be very happy to assist you.
• Log into your class via the member log in form using the email address and password you received.
• Your class will show up once you log in. Scroll down the left side of the page and click on each step in order until you complete the class.
• If a PDF is available for you to download, you will find a "download file" button above the first step. Adobe Acrobat is required to read PDF files.
• To take a free class, simply click on the "attend class" button.
